This half term we will be exploring Dinosaurs! We are super excited to learn lots of new information about Dinosaurs and explore where they came from. We will look at the history of Mary Anning, discover fossils, learn to dance the dinosaur stomp and become scientists when we explore volcanic eruptions and melting. This half term we will also learn about: Bonfire/Guy Fawkes night, Remembrance Day, Children in Need, Christmas and we will be joining in with the 'No Pen Day', which aims to raise awareness of speech, language and communication needs. We are also looking forward to visiting the Pantomime with the whole school on Thursday 19th December.
We entered the classroom this morning to find it had been destroyed!
We became detectives and searched for clues. As a class we completed a crime report and wrote a list of the evidence we found. We then had a CCTV video delivered from the caretaker and discovered a dinosaur had been in our classroom! Take a look at our photographs and video!
This afternoon we received a letter from a dinosaur. We searched outdoors and found her 3 eggs in the sensory garden. We collected lots of leaves and kept them safe in our curiosity cube. When we came to school on Monday 11th November one of the eggs had cracked and there were footprints leading to the door! Read our letter and take a look at our photographs!
My name is Doris the diplodocus.
An evil T-REX has stolen my 3 eggs and hidden them in your school. I wonder if you can help me find them?
When you find my eggs could you look after them and keep them very safe until I can come and get them.
A very sad Doris the diplodocus
