Maths

What does Maths look like in provision?

 

By using manipulatives, such as counters, coins, straws, numicon and various other number resources. Children can explore, problem solve, and correct answers to a range of mathematical questions.

 

As well as this, areas of provision like sand and water and construction will also reinforce mathematical language and thinking by using measurement, geometry and patterns.
