Spring 2 Growing and Minibeasts

This half term our learning topic is 'Growing and Minibeasts'. We will learn 2 key texts and will retell these stories through Talk 4 Write. We will practise the story and retell them through words and actions, then we will innovate the story and change the character or setting.

 

We will also have a themed week on Easter!

 

Within this topic we will enquire into: 

  • Caring for growing plants
  • Caring for animals
  • Life cycle of a Butterfly

 

Our key questions for this half term are:

  • How do we care for living things?
  • What do animals and plants need to grow?

  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar
  • Jasper's Beanstalk
