Understanding the World is a specific area of the EYFS Curriculum. This area covers: Science, Geography, History, ICT, DT and RE. These play a large role of deepening children's knowledge and understanding of their environment, other people and the natural real life world. At King Edward, these sessions are delivered through a weekly UTW lesson and continuous provision. Forest School sessions are delivered weekly to provide activities for children to explore and understand their natural environment. F2 provide activities for children to investigate and explore through scientific curiosity.
