Parent Voice – November 2025

Thank you to the families who completed our recent Parent Voice survey. Your feedback helps us strengthen our partnership with parents and continue to improve the experience of every child at King Edward Primary School. Below is a summary of what you told us — and the actions we are taking in response.
(Full survey summary available in school.)

You Said / We Did

  • Understanding your child’s support:
Some families were unsure about what support their child receives. We are improving communication through teacher check-ins, SEND updates, and timely follow-up conversations. ILPs will continue to be updated and shared termly.
  • Behaviour expectations:
A small number of comments requested greater clarity. We have reshared our relational behaviour model on the website and via the Round Up. Families will always receive a follow-up call after a behaviour incident involving their child.
  • Challenge and engagement in lessons:
Teachers will continue to review stretch and challenge to ensure all pupils are engaged and working at the right level.
  • Clubs and enrichment:
Families expressed interest in a wider variety of clubs. Our termly clubs timetable is now clearly available on the website, and we are reviewing the offer again, including exploring external partnerships to broaden opportunities.
  • Awareness of existing clubs:
We are improving how we communicate club information through more frequent updates on the website and in newsletters.
  • Positive feedback:
Many families told us their children are happy, settled and enjoy school. We are proud of this and remain committed to providing a safe, inspiring and nurturing environment.

Next Steps

Our action plan focusses on three key areas:

  • Strengthening communication with parents
  • Improving visibility around behaviour processes
  • Enhancing and promoting our enrichment offer

Thank you again for your continued support and feedback.
