Our Year 4 Art Gallery

Roman Aqueducts

Year 4 children practiced their water colour painting skills to create these pieces. They had studied aqueducts and Roman architecture as part of their history learning. Children learnt to use a wash to create backgrounds. They also learnt about using different brush types and sizes for different purposes. They also learnt the skills of layering and blending to create a more realistic look.
