Council members have been talking to their classes about what sort of clubs you would like to see at King Edward. Use the suggestion boxes or tell your Councillors. We are waiting to hear your ideas.
School Council meets weekly, during lunchtime on Wednesdays. Our councillors are elected in September and represent every class in school from Year 1 to Year 6. Miss Parsons and Mr Starr work with us.

Council can be hard work but we all try to work as a team to make our school a better place. This term we have been researching different activities to promote good learning behaviours for each class to trial in school - yoga anyone?!
Miss Carrington, our Taewondo British champion, is now enjoying her new club on a Tuesday with the KS2 children.
Choir meet every Thursday from 3:15 to 4:15.
We audition for new members every term and have a large group of enthusiastic sopranos and altos.
We work extremely hard and are proud of our acheivements.
Under the direction of Mrs. Fells and Mrs. Wilbourne we learn to sing a variety of classic and modern songs.
We recently sang at Mansfield Museum, the Key Stage 2 Carol Service at St Peters Church and The Brunts Academy Christmas Concert and, although we say so ourselves, we were brilliant!
Auditions for new members will be held during the first half of the Autumn term for Y3 -Y6. Why don't you give it a try?
This takes place every Tuesday for Key Stage 2 Pupils from 3:15pm - 4:15pm. We have just enjoyed our performance of The Wizard of Oz. It was fantastic!
