Year 5
In Year 5, the children recapped some of their learning from Year 4, exploring what passwords are, how they are used to keep personal information safe and what contributes to making one strong and effective. Following this, the children explored when they may be faced with challenging or difficult situations online, including online-bullying, and how this can be both similar and different to other forms of bullying. After this, the children in Year 5 discussed and researched a range of services which they could use for support, if they were to experience such situations. Finally, they worked in groups to plan, record and edit podcasts to present their learning.
