Grow, Flow, How High Does It Go?
Our Spring topic is Grow, Flow, how high does it go? In this topic we will be learning about mountains and rivers.
Our class text will be Iron Man by Ted Hughes
Our English units will focus on non-fiction and narratives. We will be exploring texts such as, Wolves in the Wall and The Blue Umbrella.
As part of our science, we will be learning about plants. We will also learn about our bodies, focussing on our muscles and bones. We will look at how to keep healthy by exploring nutrients and different food groups.
Our art topic will be painting and we will focus on the artist Kirsty Lorenz.
In DT we will explore levers and sliders.
