Our Trip to the Mill Adventure Base
On Wednesday 20th March, year 3 all went on a trip to the Mill Adventure Base. We had great fun trying out lots of different activities. The activities included: zipwire, climbing wall, archery, low ropes and tunnels.
The children really made us proud with our well they represented the school and how they were resilient in the face of new challenges. The children were also proud of themselves for giving things a go that they had never done before.
Reading homework will be given out every Friday and is expected in the following Wednesday.
Creative homework will be given out at the start of each half term and is expected in during the last week before the half term break. This homework will be linked to the current topic.
Children will be tested on their spellings every Friday. Children will take spellings home that must be learnt during the week.
Reading books should be taken home every day for them to read independently or with an adult as frequently as possible.
PE and Swimming
This term, PE is continuing to be on a Wednesday. We are now doing more PE outdoors as the weather is nicer so please ensure your children have appropriate kit for this.
Swimming will be continuing until the end of the term. After Easter, swimming will not be continuing.
Reading homework is sent out every Friday and should be returned to school for the following Wednesday. If children fail to hand their homework, they will complete it at play time.
Children should have their reading packs in school every day.
Creative homework is sent out once every half term. Please see the documents above to find the most recent homework sheet.
Spellings are sent out every Friday to be tested the following Friday.
Spelling homework will be handed out some weeks.
We really appreciate all of your support at home.
