In Geography, we will be learning all about the countries that make up the UK, and their capital cities.
In Art, we will be drawing London landmarks, and understanding that you can use different types of marks and lines to suit different purposes.
In DT, we will be exploring the use of mechanisms and creating simple mechanisms.
In Music, we will be using our voices expressively and creatively by singing songs and speaking chants and rhymes.
In Computing, we will be learning about internet safety, as well as how to use the zoom function, how to add sound effects to recordings, and how to collect data and record it digitally.
Science
Here is the link for Everyday Materials on BBC Bitesize - the children enjoyed interacting with the games and quizzes. We looked at Objects and Materials this week, but we are also looking at describing the properties of materials.
In Science we are learning all about materials, and their properties.
History
To help us to learn all about the Great Fire of London, we have been playing the 'Great Fire of London' game. Here is a link so that you can play it at home.
Geography
In Geography we have been learning all about the UK - the 4 countries that make up the UK and their capital cities. We have been watching this video to help us learn them.
