Gaia visit - Mansfield Palace Theatre - We listened to a story about travelling around the world in 80 days. We then worked on collaborative art of the planet Earth with Michelle Reader.
The Plant Life Cycle - We've been learning about the plant life cycle. We first used pictures to sequence the cycle but then we were able to take them away and draw our own steps in the life cycle.
R.E. Virtual Synagogue Visit . We had a virtual tour of the Synagogue in Nottingham last week with Dr Harris. We asked great questions and learned lots.
POP ART by Andy Warhol Look at our artist exploration - we looked carefully at his work and identified how he used something ordinary and made it extra-ordinary.
POP ART - We used poster paint and water colour paints to explore Primary and Secondary colours. We decided that poster paint is better for pop art because it needs to be vibrant and bright.
POP ART inspired by Andy Warhol - Lookk our impactful Pop Art. We took inspiration from plants and flowers. We designed a clear outline and painted using bright colours, using a consistent pallet.
