Week 5 - 19.05.25
This week, we are looking at maps in Geography, and how different maps have symbols and pictures, which represent different features. We are also writing our independent version of the story, Jim and the Beanstalk in English. In Maths, we have been looking at position and direction and turns.
Week 4- 12.05.25
This week we are looking at ongoing science observations regarding wild and common plants, deciduous and evergreen trees, and the basic structure of plants- by dissecting cress and labelling with luggage tags. In Geography, we are looking at Dairy farming and how cattle produce milk for profit. Writing has a suffix focus of er and ing, and Maths is exploring position and direction.
Week 3- 05.05.25
This week we are looking at comparing geographical locations and farms, using painting skills experimenting with different brushes in Art, Fractions in Maths, Prefixes in English, How plants need water to grow in Science, and looking at algorithms in construction.
Week 2- 28.04.25
This week in provision we have been looking at how plants make their own food in Science. We have also been looking at Livestock Farming in Geography and colour mixing to make secondary colours in Art.
