The fourth and last residential of the year for King Ed Kids. How lucky are we to have these opportunities!
The Whitby travellers had a smooth journey on the coach with many saying it went so quickly-must be the card games they took...
After arriving at the hostel, they were ready for their fish and chips (why do they always taste so much better at the seaside?) and then headed for the beach. Really pleased that a member of the public commented that King Ed Kids did us proud with excellent behaviour.
All walked up the 199 steps to the Abbey and then walked down again. Fantastic views which they enjoyed.
And now eating tea before the evening activities
Anti-Bullying Questionnaire for children from classes: 3HW, 4DB, 5MD, 6ZP:
Perlethorpe travellers have arrived safely and have had a fun day, taking part in a blindfold walk, collecting things and building dens.
Everyone got a bit wet testing the dens and have enjoyed team building activities before a fish and chip tea. Campfire songs and bat walk to enjoy this evening before a good nights sleep, we hope- not a sheep in sight! Everyone having a super time and the weather is perfect. More news in the morning.
All had a good nights sleep although there were a few early birds up at 5am!!! Just having breakfast and looking forward to river activities.
