Writing

Writing in provision

 

Our writing area is an extension of the work that we do within English. The children use vocabulary words used in lesson to produce their own unique sentences, and story maps. 

 

Writing has a number of objectives, which can be solidified and consolidated by children having access to writing provision and different purposes for writing within the school day. 

 

Writing opportunities are available within all areas of provision, but highlighted within the writing area.
