Ancient Egyptians
Our topic for our first term is about the Ancient Egyptians. This is a really exciting and interesting topic with lots of fun things planned.
In our English, we will be looking at non-chronological reports, newspaper reports and stories all linked to the Egyptians. We will be reading a story called 'Secrets of the Sun Kings' and this will be the focus for lots of our writing and our guided reading. Our topic work will be learning about all aspects of life in Ancient Egypt. We will be making Egyptian necklaces and making Canopic Jars.
