In English this term, we will be kicking off the year with a series of exciting writing opportunities linked to our 'Survival of the Fittest' topic!

 

From narrative story-writing to non-fiction pieces such as persuasive travel brochures and informative non-chronological reports, there will be countless opportunities to shine and show off our growing confidence with our writing.

 

Throughout, we will maintain a key focus on the underlying spelling, punctuation and grammar concepts which have been taught throughout KS2, including word classes, adverbials, relative clauses, brackets, dashes and commas for parenthesis and passive voice.
